problem?
This short problem requires children to be able to convert
centimetres to metres, to caculate using units of distance and it
will consolidate their understanding of circle
circumferences.

Learners could tackle the
Bike Ride problem which also requires them to use time as
well as distance.

Some children may find it helpful to
find a toy with wheels or a wheel from a construction set, then
to mark a point on the wheel and watch it turning.
