Members of the NRICH team have been directly involved in shaping the new curriculum and are, therefore, uniquely placed to help teachers understand the potential of rich mathematical tasks at all Key Stages.
Free support is available on-line to help teachers work together, think about, and integrate rich tasks into classroom practice. Alternatively, bespoke professional development workshops are available to schools at a venue of their choice. See below for further details.

Workshops, available at your own centre in the UK, offer opportunities to consider how rich tasks can be used to help learners explore mathematical ideas, pose their own problems and develop problem-solving skills. Tailored workshops can range from a minimum of 1½ hours to a series of whole days. Contact Jennie to find out more. Click here .

The Faculty of Education at the University of Cambridge, where members of the NRICH team are located, offers a part-time course leading to an MEd degree in Mathematics Education. This course is intended for anyone with a professional or research interest in mathematics education: mathematics teachers who want to develop a more research-informed practice, those who are interested to get mathematics education leadership positions at the local or national levels, individuals who would like to pursue doctoral studies in mathematics education at a later stage, and others. You can find more information about the Mathematics Education course at http://www.educ.cam.ac.uk/graduate/masters/courses/routes/ipme.html
