This month, you have another opportunity to work on the problems created for the November edition of NRICH. In addition, we have published a Primary and a Secondary Advent Calendar with a mathematical task a day in the run up to Christmas.

We have worked with Professor Malcolm Swan to create problems that can be solved by more than one method. We invite you to consider a variety of ways of approaching the tasks, and encourage you to reflect on the merits of different routes to solutions.

This month

If you're a pupil you can submit your solutions to the problems using the 'Submit a Solution' tab at the top of each problem. Solutions to the November problems will appear in January.

To discuss the problems, visit the Infinities (primary), Irrationals (secondary) or Fractals (Post 16) blogs.

If you're a teacher, the Teachers' Notes accompanying each problem offer guidance on possible ways of engaging learners in the activity or challenge.
