Quadrilaterals

Jason (Lark Rise Lower School, UK) claims:

There are 32 possible quadrilaterals.

Did anyone else find this many? The number will depend on how you define 'different'.

Ms Shiach, Lewis, Christopher, Sam and Jonathan (Roundwood Primary, UK) said:

We initially thought there were a great many solutions but ended up with 6!

Peter has found 8 quadrilaterals. He was very systematic about it, so he's confident that he found them all. Can you see what his system was?
